ANANTARA MAI KHAO PHUKET VILLAS

Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas are located next to the virgin sand beach and lush tropical vegetation of Sirinath National Park, near Phuket, Thailand.

The resort comprises 83 tropical pool villas and includes premium restaurants, bar, and leisure facilities. The pool villas are set in a village-like configuration around an expansive and richly landscaped tropical lagoon. The lobby, all-day restaurant, bar, and a destination spa form the heart of the resort, also focused on the lagoon.

The pool villas are composed in a cluster of four units, resembling a large traditional southern Thai house. Each unit has its own entrance and a private swimming pool for the guests’ privacy and relaxation. This clustered arrangement provides a high-density solution on the 43 rai (17 acres) site, permitting views of the large lagoon and the resulting relaxed ambience of villas located alongside a canal. The floors raised high off the ground, the hip roof, and roof cement roofing tiles are all traditional elements of southern Thai architecture.

Guests enter the resort through the narrow driveway to the arrival courtyard, and the gable roof at the entrance opens out to the tranquil backdrop of the lagoon. From here, guests walk on a raised wooden pathway along the water garden to the reception and lobby pavilion. After checking in, guests can either walk or take a golf-cart to their villas. Access to the beach and beach facilities is via raised walkways. The beach restaurant and the infinity-edge swimming pool occupy the full beach frontage of the site and provide a panoramic view of the Andaman Sea. From here guests can enjoy the palm-lined beach with food and beverages on hand to restore energy levels after time spent outdoors.
